Dan “Jungleman” Cates has thrown down the gauntlet and offered to fight Shaun Deeb and Phil Hellmuth on the streets. The American high-stakes star fired a barrage of metaphorical abuse at his potential rivals, which we assume was in the hope of goading the pair into facing off against him and Farber in the WSOP Event #59: $1,000 Tag Team No-Limit Hold’em.
Defend your turf @phil_hellmuth and @shaundeeb or SIT DOWN like the bitches you are! That’s right, I’m challenging you to a STREET FIGHT
Bring your best bad boy outfits… on our side I’m bringing the trash talk and fake tats, @JayFarber is bringing the real badboyness and swag

Jungleman Trash Talks on Twitter – Offers to Fight Shaun Deeb and Phil Hellmuth
We have absolutely no idea where this outburst came from but Jungleman definitely appears fired up.
Maybe he is starting to feel starved of attention after watching Phil Hellmuth break records and steal all of the limelight.
Shaun Deeb is never one to back down, either in battle on the felt or on social media, and he quickly replied.
Jay would rather be on my squad than yours kid. You aren’t filming a little commercial in a 3rd world country anymore

Will Jungleman Get to Face-Off Against Hellmuth and Deeb?
Jungleman really has the bit between his teeth and looks like he’s determined to goad Phil Hellmuth and Shaun Deeb into playing the tag team tournament on October 31.
Yoyo, listen the fuck up @phil_hellmuth and @shaundeeb I’m talking to YOU
You guys call yourselves the “””bad””” “””boys””” of poker, and I don’t think so.
So me and @JayFarber have started a poker gang and challenge you to a turf war, tag team poker style.
So either play

But it didn’t take long before the challenge thread degenerated into personal insults, some of which might have gone too far.
After being asked if he ever does anything to help autism charities Deeb quickly quipped that this is how Jungleman got his starting bankroll.
Jungleman then corrected him, saying it was, in fact, McDonalds who provided his start in poker.
McDonald’s… even back then I was still serving your ass! (Literally, French fries and burgers)
— Daniel Cates 🇺🇸 🌎 (@junglemandan) October 24, 2021
After Deeb said McDonalds is where he’ll end up working at again, Jungleman makes insulting references to Deeb’s chunky frame by calling him “burger tits”. All childish, but still hilarious at times.
Who Is Jay Farber?
Jay Farber made his reputation in poker as one of the November Nine back in 2013. Already a name in Las Vegas, the nightlife promoter looks after VIP patrons in the city and plays in high-stakes cash games when he finds the time.
At the time of his runner-up placing for the 2013 WSOP Main Event, Farber only had two live tournament cashes to his name. There’s not that many more today, really.
His connection to Jungleman is unknown but Farber himself tweeted that he assumed the thread is all about them taking on Hellmuth and Deeb in the tag team event.
Let’s hope Jungleman reels in his prey and we get to see this matchup streamed live on PokerGO.
