Jungleman Dan Cates and Matt Berkey have crossed swords over the recent Hustler Casino Live cheating debate, with HCL reg Darren ‘Beanz’ Atteberry at the centre of controversy this time…

Atteberry, known by the nickname Beanz, was described as “The King Scammer of Kansas City” in Garrett Adelstein’s recent report on the alleged cheating he claims took place.
He is alleged to have been involved in scams ranging from “credit card scams to sports and entertainment ticket scams” and is the player who got Robbi Jade Lew on the show – who Adelstein believes cheated him in the year’s craziest poker hand.
“Beanz” refuted allegations that he was somehow involved in what Adelstein has described as a potential cheating ring, telling viewers on Joey Ingram’s podcast: “Garrett needs to get his facts together before he puts some shit out there.”
However, Atteberry may have more to worry about than being accused of involvement in cheating at poker, as he is alleged to have defrauded $330,000 in PPP payments.

His co-defendant in the case, Joshua Rodriguez, has already pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 18 months and is on court record as revealing that Attebery “taught the defendant how to commit the fraud”.
Court records reveal that Attebery is also set to plea guilty, so his time on the Hustler Casino Live looks like it may come to an end in any event.
Meanwhile, Matt Berkey, the star of our headline, was still scratching his head as to why Jungleman singled him out for special treatment, given that everyone and their mother has been sifting through the evidence and choosing sides in the alleged cheating scandal.

Berkey is among those who think Hustler should go on hiatus while the investigation is taking place into the cheating allegations.
He tweeted: “I don’t like that I have to put this message out, but I feel a responsibility to the community, specifically those tied to the streaming industry. @HCLPokerShow’s stream integrity has been breached & they cannot responsibly operate any longer. We NEED to uphold a higher standard.”
