Joe Ingram investigates allegations regarding a compromised card shuffle machines made by the former management and players against Prime Social Club in Houston, Texas.
Comprised card shuffle machine installed at three poker tables
Apparently the card shuffler was installed on three tables, which would lead to cheating taking place by multiple players in the game.
Joe Ingram has thoroughly analysed the video recordings and hasn’t found any proof just yet. However, the allegations come from high management and other players, who participated in those games.
No statement regarding the allegations from Prime Social Poker Club
In the ensuing period, Ingram will keep investigating, speaking to the players and also asked Prime Social poker club for a statement, which hasn’t been published yet.
The real problem lays deeper though as the poker rooms in Texas are unregulated and therefore operate in a legal grey zone.
There have been multiple attempts to shut down poker rooms and even several shootings in Legends Poker Room over the last months.
Apparently management and a couple of players used comprised shuffle machines to cheat
This time compromised card shuffling machines are at the centre of the cheating allegations.
It is rumoured that both the Prime Social poker club management and some insider players used them to cheat in cash games.
Joe Ingram reveals the following in his latest video:
“What I’m told is there’s one guy in the game, who’s just creating a lot of action, he’s just doing a lot of crazy things. Although not winning money himself, some other unknowns at the table clearly were, and staff and regulars started to become suspicious.”
Is the Shuffle Machine 2 exploitable?
Ingram further states that he believes that the used brand “Shuffle Machine 2” is “exploitable”.
Solve for Why founder Matt Berkey also confirmed the allegations in the latest “Only Friends” podcast:
“There were three recreationals, one of whom is alleged to be a known cheater in L.A.”
“The allegations are basically that there were three recreationals, one of whom is alleged to be a known cheater in L.A…” says Matt Berkey.
“Who are you going to hold accountable?”
One of the players participating in the game, who validates the rumours, is young poker prodigy Landon Tice.
Matt Berkey said on the Only Fans podcast:
“Landon told us there was some suspicion the game wasn’t on the up-and-up.”
Landon Tice then raised the question: “Who are you going to hold accountable?”
This is a legitimate question and we are hoping that we can publish and answer or statement from Prime Social poker club soon. So make sure to check back frequently in our poker news section for updates on this developing story.
