Jason Mo and Matt Berkey are butting heads on Twitter again. This time over Mo’s trash talking about Berkey’s failure to back his guy Landon Tice while calling Mo an idiot when he actually did.

Mo reckons Berkey has been behaving in a playground fashion and is demanding an apology, even mentioning a slander lawsuit.

For those not fully in the know, Landon Tice is one of Matt Berkey’s guys from his Only Friends podcast and Solve for Why training site.
A couple of months ago, news broke that Daniel Negreanu was crossbooking upcoming star Jeremy Becker against Tice at the 2024 WSOP.
The terms are a 100% crossbook with a $250,000 cap on events with a buy-in of $10,000 and under.
Becker is fast becoming a star in the live tournament world following a spate of great results at the Aria, Wynn, and Venetian in the daily and nightly events.
Negreanu is convinced that he is ready to outperform young Tice on the biggest stage of them all.

Jason Mo says he approached a group of MTT players who play the very highest stakes and was told Tice was nothing more than a “mediocre reg”.
Becker, however, is nothing more than a “fish who doesn’t know how to use a computer”, in their opinion. Referring to Becker being a flat out exploitative player while Tice is known as a “child of the sim”.

So, for this reason, even though Mo doesn’t believe in Tice, he thinks he’s enough ahead of the unproven Becker to invest in him. In fact, Mo says that he has an even bigger piece of Tice than Berkey does.
Mo bought $100,000 of Tice’s WPT final table action and even sent him an extra $5,000 for being out of line by exposing a private deal “just to prove how big of a bum Berkey is publicly” and the “kid got caught in the crossfire”.
