The feud between Dominik Nitsche and Bencb has been reignited after Jaime Staples picked a fight with Nitsche on Twitter over the quality of his DTO Poker Trainer calling it a watery product.

Jaime Staples Butts in on Feud between Dominik Nitsche and Bencb
Staples’ tweet centres on Nitsche’s criticism of how Bencb teaches an exploitative style of play that deviates significantly from what a GTO solver recommends. Nitsche claims this is a poor method in today’s tough playing environment.
Staples claims that the DTO Poker product simplifies in a way that is pretty much the same as what Bencb recommends but Nitsche, unsuccessfully, tries to point out that he is mistaken.

Staples is having none of it and insults Nitsche by saying “I personally think your [sic] selling a watered down product. Some may say it’s oily.”
Do you not understand how picking and choosing when to use pure solver outputs, and when not too, makes you the same person you publicly trash? Who made you the god of human ability? I personally think your selling a watered down product. Some may say its oily.

Dominik Nitsche Triggered by Accusations of Building RTA
It looks like Jaime Staples opened a can of worms as further arguments started brewing about DTO Poker Trainer possibly targeting the real-time assistance market. Obviously Nitsche immediately denied this was true.
“Not saying it is that, but that many flop sizings reads a bit like a ‘tell me you’re targeting the RTA market without telling me’ For a human those trees would be useless without huge culling work.”
His point is that he thinks solver outputs should be simplified to make a strategy that humans can use in-game. Not to make it easier to produce an RTA program.
The current trend of online solver packages using an outrageous number of flop sizings in the tree build is clearly driving him mad because he disagrees with this approach and thinks it’s a waste of time for the player.

Will Dominik Nitsche and Bencb Restart Social Media Hostilities?
Bencb hasn’t posted his opinion on the thread yet, possibly choosing not to escalate the feud, feeling that everything that needed saying was said before.
Dominik Nitsche still strongly agrees with how Bencb manually adjusts GTO ranges for various reasons but that is something for two extremely strong players to argue about and not for the rest of us.
