In the money with four players remaining, Jason Koon was first to the payout window to collect a fourth-place payday.

Then it was Stephen Chidwick who busted in third place to set up the heads-up match between Haxton and Lichtenberger.

Twice Haxton stretched out big chip leads only to see Lichtenberger double back into a slight lead.

Finally, with the chip stacks just above even, Haxton scored an enormous double through Lichtenberger when his flush draw came in.

Lichtenberger was left with only a handful of big blinds and was eliminated a couple of hands later.

Lichtenberger, who placed third in this event last year for $1,152,000, took home $1,680,000 for his runner-up performance.
