Insider Information on the 1 Million Dollar Buy-In Cash Game Jeju ft. Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonius

Biggest Cash Game ever to be televised this week!

As the Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju ends, poker fans still have an extra treat to look forward to.

The first episode  of the insane 1 Million Dollar Buy-In Cash Game Jeju with Tom Dwan, Jason Koon, Sam Greenwood, Elton Tsang, Paul Phua, Rui Cao and  Patrik Antonius is going to be released in the next couple of days.

With commentary from Randy “Nanonoko” Lew and Lex Veldhuis, the sickest of cash game action is about to hit our computer screens.

While the high roller events were going on, possibly the biggest cash game ever was being played in the evenings with a whole roster of star names.

The Landing Casino Jeju in South Korea was the venue, and by all accounts it was a throwback to an older era. Smoking and drinking at the tables – the players were there to create some amazing memories, as well as win some serious cash.

Action-Packed Lineup ft. Tom Dwan, Patrik Antonius, Jason Koon and Rui Cao

Tom Dwan, Jason Koon, Sam Greenwood, Elton Tsang, Paul “MalACEsia” Phua, Rui Cao, Patrik Antonius, Xuan Tan, Mikita “fish2013” Badziakouski, and Shanghai Wong all sat down with at least one billion Korean won – more than $900,000 – and went to war.

The blinds were around $3,000/$6,000 with a button ante equal to the big blind. A new level has been set in the world of nosebleed cash games!

Sam Greenwood, who is primarily a tournament player, was interviewed during the series and confessed that this was the biggest cash game he’d ever played by a factor of 10. He obviously couldn’t turn down the chance to win a few stacks of that magnitude.

The Cash Game Jeju – A World Record?

It was reported that the game started with an already incredible $8 million on the table, but at one point there were more than 16 Million Dollar out there. The action was fast-paced, with not one player nitting it up.

No less than 11 pots totalling more than 2 Million Dollar were seen over the week. We can now understand why Jason Koon was happy to shrug off his usual health concerns about such an environment.

Jason Koon was happy to admit he overdid it when donking off $200,000 with 72o against Tsang and Phua. But at least he played within the spirit of the game, and gave us a teaser of what we will see later this week.

This sounds like a complete contrast to what we witnessed in the big cash game at the Triton Super High Roller in Montenegro. There players decided to sit back and play it safe just a little too much to keep the fans entertained.
