High Stakes Poker – Jennifer Tilly is back

Poker Queen Jennifer Tilly returns in High Stakes Poker Season 11 Episode 7, but unfortunately isn’t up to a good start as she loses the biggest pot of the night to Rob Yong.

New Line-up in Episode 7

There are several changes in the line-up compared to High Stakes Poker Season 11 Episode 6 and the new line-up goes as follows:

They are playing 7-handed $200/$400 No-Limit Hold’em.

Jennifer Tilly bluffs into Rob Yong’s set: $277,100 Pot

Stanley Tang puts down a double straddle to $1,600. Rick Salomon raises from the button to $3,000 with 6♠6♥ and both Tilly with J♠8♠ and Rob with 2♥2♣ call from the blinds.

When the action comes to Andrew Robl, he makes a large squeeze to $30,000 holding Q♦7♦, but Salomon, Tilly and Yong all call and just like that there is $122,100 in the pot preflop.

4-way to a flop of 2♠A♥9♣, which is a dream for Rob Yong, since he flops a well-disguised bottom set on a rainbow board.

It checks to the preflop raiser and Robl makes a tiny $15,000 cbet. Salomon folds, but Tilly correctly reads the small bet as weakness and check-raises to $45,000. Just bad that Rob has a set and is going nowhere. He calls and Robl folds. Pot Size: $227,100

The Q♣ on the turn gives Jennifer a gutshot. She slows down though and checks. Yong quickly checks behind. Pot Size: $227,100

The 3♥ on the river is a blank and Tilly checks again. Now Rob Yong puts her All-in for her remaining $50,000 and Jennifer can’t call.

Rob Yong wins the largest pot of High Stakes Poker Season 11 Episode 7 worth $277,100.

Bad start for newcomer William Tjokro

Another player, who had a rough start after joining the table is Willian Tjokro. The Indonesian high roller lost several big pots including this one:

There is a straddle to $800. Stanley Tand raises from the button to $1,600 with J♣9♣, Tjokro 3-bets from the button to $6,000 with K♠Q♠ and JRB cold 4-bets from the straddle to $20,000 with A♠K♣. Tang folds, but Tjokro calls. Pot Size: $44,100

Heads-up to a flop of Q♣J♦9♥. William checks and JRB makes a small $15,000 cbet. Tjokro only has $79,100 behing and could put it in right here, but decides to just call. Pot Size: $74,100

4♠ on the turn and it goes check-check. Pot Size: $74,100

The 10♦ on the river is a brutal card for William as it makes him the Straight and JRB the Nuts. Tjokro checks for a third time, JRB shoves and William snap-calls just to see the bad news.

Jean-Robert Bellande collects a large $202,300 Pot, while William Tjokro has to reload.
