Line-up of High Stakes Poker Season 10 Episode 1:
They are continuing with the same line-up as in High Stakes Poker Season 10 Episode 1:
- Eric Persson
- Jennifer Tilly
- Matt Hanks
- Jean-Robert Bellande
- Bobby Baldwin
- Ema Zajmovic
- Chino Rheem
Combo Draw vs. Set: Jean-Robert Bellande vs. Jennifer Tilly: $208,400 Pot
Eric Persson open-limps UTG with A♠10♦ and Jennifer Tilly (10♠6♠), JRB (5♦5♣), Matt Hanks (9♦8♥) and Chino Rheem (9♥7♠) all call behind him.
Bobby Baldwin looks at A♦K♣ in the big blind and raises it up to $4,000 and everybody calls! Pot Size: $24,400
6-way to a flop of 2♦5♠4♠, which gives Persson Top Set and Tilly a combo draw, everybody else whiffs. It checks to Eric Persson, who fires $13,000 with his gutshot and overcards. Jennifer and JRB call right behind him and everybody else folds. Pot Size: $63,400
8♣ on the turn and now Eric slows down. Tilly has picked up even more equity adding an Open-Ender to her flush draw and she decides to bet $35,000. The board is very draw-heavy and JRB could easily raise with his set, but he decides to just call. Persson folds. Pot Size: $133,400
The Q♥ on the river is not one of Tilly’s many outs and she therefore checks. JRB makes a value bet of $75,000 into $133,400 and Tilly mucks her hand. JRB wins the biggest pot of High Stakes Poker Season 10 Episode 2 worth $208,400.
Matt Hanks bluffs JRB off an overpair! – $153,000 Pot
The last hand of High Stakes Poker Season 10 Episode 2 was also the most spectacular one with a big bluff.
JRB open-raises from UTG+1 to $2,000 with 10♠10♦ and Matt Hanks 3-bets from the button with A♠Q♥ to $10,000, only Bellande calls.
They go heads-up to a flop of 9♦5♠8♣ rainbow. Hanks missed completely, while JRB has an overpair to the board. JRB checks and Matt makes a $10,000 continuation bet, which is quickly called by Bellande. Pot Size: $37,000
The board pairs on the 5♦ turn and Jean-Robert checks again. Matt Hanks fires a $23,000 second barrel and JRB check-calls again. Pot Size: $83,000
The 3♦ on the river does complete the backdoor flush draw and JRB checks over to Matt Hanks for a third time. Hanks knows that he has to bet in order to win the hand and he does go for the Triple Barrel Bluff by betting a hefty $70,000 into $83,000.
JRB goes deep into the tank for almost two minutes before ultimately folding his hand with the words: “I show you a lot of respect Sir” just to get shown a stone-cold bluff by Matt Hanks in return.
