Line-up of High Stakes Poker Season 10 Episode 13:
There is a completely new and action-packed line-up for Episode 13 featuring action players Alan Keating and Eric Hicks:
- Alan Keating
- Eric Hicks
- Stanley Choi
- Jean-Robert Bellande
- Stanley Tang
- Jeremy Stein
Jeremy Stein Semi-Bluffs Alan Keating: $287,500 Pot
The biggest pot of Episode 13 came in a Battle of the Newcomers between Jeremy Stein and Alan Keating.
Once again the straddle to $800 is on. Mister Keating makes it $4,000 to go from the cut-off with A♦2♣. Stein picks up A♣K♦ in the big blind and kicks it up to $18,000. Only Alan Keating calls. Pot Size: $37,400
The 6♣4♥7♣ flop is not a good one for Ace-King and Jeremy consequently checks. Alan then takes a large $30,000 stab at it and Stein check-calls. Pot Size: $87,400
The Q♣ on the turn is making things interesting as Stein now has the Nut Flush Draw to go alongside his two overcards.
Stein checks again and Keating goes for the $40,000 Double Barrel Bluff. However, Stein pulls the trigger by check-raising All-In for $160,000.
Keating obviously can’t call and Jeremy Stein wins the biggest pot of High Stakes Poker Season 10 Episode 13 worth $287,500 with a perfectly played semi-bluff.
Alan Keating’s fatal misread: $215,600 Pot
There is a straddle to $800. Alan Keating raises to $3,000 from UTG with 5♣5♥ and only JTB calls from the small blind with A♠7♠. Pot Size: $7,600
6♦3♣9♠ rainbow on the flop. JRB checks to the preflop raiser and Keating checks behind. Pot Size: $7,600
The 6♠ is an interesting turn card as it gives Alan Two Pair and JRB the Nut Flush Draw. The latter checks again and this time Mr. Keating bets $4,000, which is quickly called by Bellande. Pot Size: $15,600
The 6♠ on the river completes JRB’s flush, who checks over to Keating for a third time. It looks like an easy check behind for Alan, but instead he fires a huge overbet of 3x pot. Bellande then check-raises to $100,000 and Keating calls!
JRB announces “Flush” and Keating replies “No Good”, followed by “I thought I had Deuces”. A costly misread brings JRB a huge $215,600 Pot
