The Grudge Match Between William Kassouf & Stacy Matuson Is On!

The huge WSOP success of William Kassouf was partly due to an amazing bluff he pulled of against Stacy Matuson.

The hand played deep into the tournament when Kassouf used his 9-high to bluff Stacy Matuson off of her QQ.

The loss got Stacy Matuson into a downward spiral while it helped Kassouf on his way towards a huge success.

It all seems that Matuson just can’t let the hand go. In her opinion the hand is the only reason the world knows Kassouf’s name.

A few days ago, she posted an Instagram video, challenging Kassouf to a heads up match that will take place at the 888Live Poker Festival.

In just a few hours after the video was posted, Kassouf responded with the following line:

“Don’t think I’m a boss just because I bluffed you in any part, I bluffed you with nine-high like the boss that I am. I let my results speak for themselves. I look forward to playing a heads-up match at the King’s Festival in Rozvadov on the 2nd of February. May the best man win.”
