Garrett Adelstein has claimed on the Doug Polk Podcast he still believes Robbi Jade Lew cheated him and that he will not be refunding any money and likening Lew to “a con artist”.

Garrett Adelstein recently emerged from his self-imposed hibernation to refute some very public accusations of Nik Airball, his first target during a lengthy chat on the Doug Polk Podcast.

Lies, half-truths and exaggerations from Nik Airball
“Airball’s interview with you really struck a nerve with me … it’s one thing if he goes on minor podcasts and mumbles things here and there; it’s another thing entirely to come on the biggest podcast in poker by far and just spew a series of lies, half-truths, exaggerations, etc. I don’t think that’s right.”
This followed on from some serious Twitter beef between the pair earlier in the week…
I’m a bad person? I don’t block people from games, I don’t rank the recreational players I want to play with, I battle ANYONE, and most importantly – when I get owned I don’t ask for a refund. https://t.co/gqu5jsjjVU

…with Adelstein telling Polk about Nik Airball: “I really don’t want to be rolling about in the mud with this piece of shit!”
“I am extremely confident I was cheated”
In his first public appearance since the drama of September last year, Garrett was inevitably quizzed on what he thought about Robbi Jade Lew’s incredible call with J4offsuit six months on from the hand that rocked the poker world.
“No. No I will not be refunding Robbi any money. Period. Flatout,” he stated firmly, adding: “I am extremely confident I was cheated in this hand.”
Garrett then describes her as “a con artist” whose play since the infamous HCL hand has been like “night and day”. He also explained how the narrative was then shaped to make him look like the villain after accepting the money back.
As we revealed last week, the Garrett Adelstein won’t be back on Hustler Casino Live any time soon, if at all.
Nick Vertucci, HCL co-founder, stated:
“I hesitate to use the word banned, in regard to having Garrett back on the show. Maybe things will change down the line. We will never say never.”
