Barely a week after being on the side of the good guys at Hustler Casino Live’s big cash game, Garrett Adelstein came under the spotlight this weekend, being the victim of a nasty slowroll by Dylan Gang for previously joking about eating a fellow player’s unborn child.
Adelstein then took to Twitter to clear things up as the slowroll video went viral…
Regarding the pot I lost w KT vs Dylan’s 44: We have no history aside from playful banter last week. I have no ill will towards him and he’s welcome to slowroll, needle, moon me midhand, etc. That said, he’s got an uphill battle if he thinks I’m affected by anything he does/says

That tweet looks rather cryptic if you’re not in the know, but Johnnie Vibes had the answer, sharing one of the most brutal slowrolls in the history of the HCL game…

That “Good call…only kidding” from Dylan Gang didn’t come out of nowhere, with the explanation much quicker to appear than Adelstein’s river call…
Poker fan Wes Cuthall explained: “Just for everyone that doesn’t know, Garret made a joke that he wanted to eat Dylan’s GF’s unborn baby last week. Dylan clearly didn’t take kindly to it at the time, or now.”
If that sounds as far from a joke as one could get, Adelstein’s comment was actually a nod to Mike Tyson’s infamous interview before he fought – and lost to – Lennox Lewis.
Adelstein’s version came about after losing several pots to Dylan. When asked if rebuying enough to cover his rival’s stack was the first thing he thought about, Adelstein replied: “I was thinking that I wanted to eat your unborn child…”
Dylan Gang was seriously unimpressed with this response, countering: “My unborn child would slap you in your face,” then adding: “My unborn child will not be the first one off of Survivor…I guarantee that!”
That was a dig at Adelstein’s early exit from the CBS show back in 2014, the Californian voted out on day 6.
Back at the poker table, and one week on it was time for Gang to get his revenge, although Garrett’s response to the epic slowroll garnered plenty of admiration…
You handled this incredibly well. You didn’t even give him the satisfaction of acknowledging the slowroll. You continue to be the ambassador poker really needs.

It seems that there’s barely a week goes by just now without the Hustler Casino Live game hitting the headlines, Tom Dwan rivering Quads in a $109k pot against Adelstein.
Prior to that we almost saw a fist fight break out at the table when HLC co-owner, Nick Vertucci, and occasional player Jerry, had a serious disagreement.
More recently, we had the “Skillsrocks” cheating incident, when Julio Cedillo was perma-banned from the casino and the show for deliberately looking at the cards of his “next door neighbour” at the table, Barry Wallace.
That incredible incident, on a televised show, was described as “completely f***ing unacceptable” by Garrett Adelstein and Wallace stating: “motherf***ers is leaning over you on purpose, kicking other people that’s the cheating part.”
As for slowrolls, there have been numerous famous incidents over the years, with serial slowroller Shaun Deeb and Mike Matusow involved in one of the most famous of all time…
“I just don’t like people who slowroll…it’s not funny to me,” Mike mumbled into his mic. “I never slowrolled a person in my life and I never will. It’s the most disgusting thing you can ever do.”
As the jokes and stories at the table rolled on, Mike was seething, warning Deeb, “If you ever slowroll me I’ll punch you in the fucking mouth!”
So, we’ve had huge pots, terrible cheating and ridiculous slowrolls – whatever next from the Hustler Casino live crew? Whatever it is, we’ll bring you the best of the news and action right here on Poker Boulevard, so be sure to check in regularly!
