More than 15,000 hands to go in the Galfond Challenge
The Galfond Challenge continues today! PLO legend Phil Galfond is down almost $1 million and is looking to bounce back.
The Galfond challenge started on January 22nd and even though the players were supposed to play four hours per day, 5 days a week, Galfond decided to take a break and paused the challenge for the rest of February.

However, the official Run It Once Poker twitter account announced that the challenge is going to continue today. The players have not even played half of the 25,000 hands that they have agreed to play prior to the challenge.
Therefore it is safe to say that Galfond has plenty of time to turn the tide. He mentioned in a tweet that his head has not been clear and the losses have been getting to him. Taking a break would, therefore, be a reasonable option for him at this particular point.

His first opponent Venividi is clearly superior at the moment, even though Galfond is in the middle of a downswing. Will he be able to come back stronger than to prove his PLO skills?
