Floyd Mayweather has been flashing his cash in a poker game on his private jet. The boxing legend is known as a bit of a show off and flaunting his wealth is standard behaviour, but is he telling the truth here.
The American started his career with the nickname “Pretty Boy” but as his star power increased he changed to the more apt “Money”.

The photos from inside Mayweather’s jet appear to show a purely made up poker situation. Anybody who has ever played poker knows that the odds of this exact hand happening are insane.
Mayweather flops trips, turns quads and his opponent holding pocket kings rivers a full house. Not likely!

People play tons of volume over their poker careers and might see this a handful of times in a whole decade.
Even so, with around $100,000 sitting on the table there probably has been some serious high stakes action going on during the trip.
Mayweather earned more than $916 million during his fighting career so it’s probably difficult to find an opponent who has the bankroll to come up with meaningful stakes.
Money to Burn
With 23.2 million Instagram followers it’s no surprise that many of them were crying foul over this display. Most of those probably weren’t even poker players of any description.
A lot of them though, were no doubt jealous at the ostentatious display of wealth.
The £50m Gulfstream G650 jet is just for Mayweather himself and his closest friends and family. What most people don’t know is that he has a second aircraft worth £25 just for the entourage.
No wonder that Mayweather appears to have so many friends to spend time with.
He is such a narcissist that he has his boxing record, 50 – 0, stitched into the carpets flyers walk on to board and into the clothes of the staff serving them.
Dan Bilzerian Spouts Off to Floyd Mayweather
The best part of Mayweather’s Instagram post is Dan Bilzerian chipping in.
“I play poker from time to time..”
Bilzerian is another celebrity who has been accused of talking rubbish about his poker prowess.
The self-styled King of Instagram is more known for his daily photos with beautiful women wearing very little, but wants the world to think he’s a poker god.
It is common knowledge that Blizerian is a trust fund baby and he seems to have some issues with the world knowing this.
Not that any of this matters if we get to see him and Mayweather squaring up over the felt though. Wouldn’t that be something for the poker community to watch while we’re all locked indoors for now.
