Everything we know so far about the Potential Robbi Cheating Scandal at Hustler Casino Live

Find out everything we know so far about the potential cheating scandal on Hustler Casino Live between Robbi Jade Lew and Garrett Adelstein in this article.

The claims have all the makings of a new Postlegate scandal, and the biggest names in the game have been putting their names down in the guilty/innocent columns.

Watch the cheating investigations here:

Straight away the biggest Poker YouTubers suchnas Doug Polk, Joey Ingram and Solve For Why suspected cheating by Robbi and started to launch in-depth investigations of the incident, which you can watch below.

The incredible hand that sparked the controversy saw Lew call off a turn bluff-shove from Adelstein, only for the poker newbie to show down jack-high at showdown, leaving Adelstein gobsmacked and fearing he was facing a cheat.

Garrett Adelstein, known as “G-Man” and a massive winner in the popular livestreamed cash game held at the Hustler Casino in Gardena, California, shared his thoughts in a lengthy tweet thread…

Garrett’s thoughts on the hand

After scooping the $270k pot, Lew later returned Adelstein’s portion of the money, the reasons for which are still being argued about, but Lew’s version apparently getting official backing from HCL’s Ryan Feldman, via Matt Berkey.

The poker Twittersphere was soon alight with claims, counterclaims, opinions, theories, and a ton of information, much of it faulty.

One example of the latter was Lew’s Hendon Mob previous, which made her appear to be a low-level reg who had been playing for many years.

This was later shown to be a mix-up with a player with a very similar name, Robert Lew, and Robbi Jade Lew is indeed quite new to the game.

However, there is genuine concern over the hand, with Lew’s own explanations for why she called very unconvincing to many.

That being said, inexperienced players make all sorts of huge mistakes and stupid blunders, and embarrassment can play its part in making up dumb reasons for it afterwards. This was poker pro Matt Glantz’s argument…

Robbi’s tweets on the incident

Lew herself was seriously unhappy at the escalating situation, claiming she had been threatened by Adelstein before returning his money…

Meanwhile, Adelstein was quoting Doug Polk’s investigations, in which he decided Lew was likely “90% guilty” of cheating…

Faraz Jaka, who has had several coaching sessions with Lew, waded into the debate stating:“…cheating would be very out of character from my interactions with Robbi”.

Tweeting multiple times, Jaka also said: “As far as the potential of devices being used etc, that’s for the Hustler Casinos investigation team to determine. But from what I see, hear, and know about how Robbi discusses hands in our sessions I have no reason to think anything shady was going on.”

How Lew might have been cheating is another good question, with vibrating devices, hacked livestreams, and bizarre lucky horseshoe theory shenanigans being thrown about like confetti.

HighStakesPoker Productions, the company behind the Hustler Casino Live stream, have begun their own investigation into the possibility of any cheating.

HCL’s Nick Vertucci and Ryan Feldman state that they “are in the process of retaining experts to conduct a thorough and independent investigation of the hand involving Garrett and Robbi.” A law firm will also be involved.

They are not the only ones talking about lawyers. Robbi’s husband, himself a lawyer, appears to be planning to hit the G-Man with something legal…

So, did Lew cheat or didn’t she? On the balance of the evidence so far it seems like a no, but stranger things have been proven to be true.

This story clearly has a long way to run, and – just as we did with the Postlegate investigation into Mike Postle’s alleged cheating – we’ll keep you updated with all the details as and when they emerge.
