Kayle Burns crushes on Day 1
44 of the best poker tournament players in the world gathered at the EPT Prague to crown a new EPT Prague Super High Roller Champion.
It was a 3-Day-Event and after Day 1 the field was already cut in half with many big names such as defending champion Matthias Eibinger. Seth Davies, Juan „Malakastyle“ Pardo and Sam Grafton, hit the rails.
The big dominator on Day 1 was Australian crusher Kayle Burns, who is also currently leading in the GPI Player of the Year ranking. He bagged a massive chiplead with 899,000 chips, followed by Vladimir Troyanovskiy (687,000) and Ben Heath (646,000).
El Matador Adrian Mateos takes over on Day 2
22 players were left after Day 1, but many re-entered or took advantage oft he late registration, so that the field grew back up to 44 players.
Aim of Day 2 was to play down to the 6 paid places. Kahle Burns, who was massive chipleader after the first day busted sursprisingly quickly and Super High Roller Bowl Bahamas Champion Daniel Dvoress, Bryn Kenney, Mikita Badziakouski and Timothy Adams followed him to the rails soon after.
The Bubble Boy was with Seth Davies also a high roller regular, who got his Kings cracked by Jean- Noel Thorel with Kh-8h, when the money went in on a flop of 9h-6h-Ts and Thorel hit his straight on the river.
Adrian Mateos is on a huge sun run
Adrian Mateos is on an insane sun run at the moment, having won 3 high roller events within 3 weeks including the $10,000,000 GTD partypoker MILLIONS World for a total of $1,880,010!
He once again ended the day up top and therefore had the chance to win his second EPT Prague High Roller title as well as the fourth high roller event within a month!

EPT Prague Super High Roller Final Table Recap
Ben Heath started the Day as absolute short stack and he didn’t manage to stage a comeback.
He busted in one of the first hands of the day by loosing a coinflip with A-Q against Pocket Sevens of Jean-Noel Thorel, who jumped into the chiplead.
However, Thorel then went on a melt down losing a massive pot with a straight flush draw against the overpair of Stephen Chidwick, an All-in with A-Q vs K-Q from ElkY and another one against Steve O’Dwyer, which send him to the rails.

Steve O’Dwyer and Adrian Mateos followed him and we were Heads-Up between Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier and Stephen Chidwick.
The chipcounts at the start of the Heads-Up:

Stephen Chidwick wins €50,000 EPT Super High Roller for €725,710!
As you can see from above, Stephen Chidwick had an almost 6 to 1 chiplead at the start of the Heads-up and he didn’t give the lead away anymore.
In the final hand Bertrand Grospellier three-bet all in for 2,375,000 with Ad-Kd and Stephen Chidwick called with Qs-Ts.
A ten on the turn and Stephen Chidwick is the EPT Prague Super High Roller Champion for €725,710!
