Doug Polk Offers Mike Postle a Free Bankroll to Play at the Lodge

Doug Polk has thrown out an offer to accused poker cheater Mike Postle to come and play at his card room The Lodge with a free bankroll.

The incredulous offer was put on the table in a recent episode of Doug Polk/Joey Ingram teaming up for a podcast.

Polk and Ingram were rekindling their relationship after almost a year to discuss the state of poker in 2024.

After a brief rundown of how Polk’s card room and training site are going, the conversation moved onto the reappearance of Mike Postle into the community.

Polk referred to Postle as “one of poker’s greatest villains”, and yet still insisted on calling him an alleged cheater, noting that no conclusive evidence has ever been presented.

Amazingly, Ingram revealed that he has been in contact with Mike Postle ever since the controversy broke some years ago.

Quite fairly, he felt that it was important for somebody to listen to what Postle had to say and to try and understand where he was coming from, even if nobody believed him.

Polk responded by saying:

“What I’m mainly interested in is when he’s going to come clean.”

Ingram said that Postle told him that he has proof of a fair reason why he was glancing down at his phone during hands, adding that it was all a prank!

We’re not convinced.

Doug Polk Wants to Interview Mike Postle and Chat Over Some Hands

Doug Polk certainly isn’t convinced that there is even a modicum of chance that Mike Postle is innocent of the cheating allegations.

He made it clear that he would like to invite Postle for an interview to chat over some of the hands in question and a few damning statistics.

Clearly reveling at the thought of getting Mike Postle in front of him, Polk went a step further and invited him down to Texas for some poker at The Lodge Card Club.

He offered to provide the bankroll and keep all of his winnings from the session which would see him taking on the casual players at the club.

Polk said if Postle can approach his win-rate from Stones Gambling Hall then he will eat his words.

Of course this is all reliant on Polk’s customers being willing to sit down and play with a guy who is the most vilified poker cheater in the last decade, according to most who followed the scandal.
