Doug Polk has announced that he is to resume the production of poker videos. The heads-up legend was expected to return to the quiet life of retirement for the second time but surprised his fans with no less than three interview videos which will be published very soon.

Doug Polk Does Poker Videos Again
Polk made a video in March 2020 titled This Is My Final Video to tell his subscribers that there would be no more poker content coming in the future.
He did say, however, that he would carry on producing videos and now he is back as you can watch his latest video on the Landon Tice vs. Bill Perkins heads-up challenge controversy below.
Watch Doug Polk’s latest video below:
Polk’s first three guests are sure to leave his followers asking for more: Jason Mo, Kevin Rabichow, and Bill Perkins.
Podcast recorded, should be up tomorrow.

Both Mo and Rabichow are poker millionaires, with the latter having been one of the insiders on Landon Tice’s team in his recently abandoned match against Bill Perkins.
Perkins won a popular victory with many social media posts heavily criticising Tice over how he went around this whole challenge.
“- publicly challenged a “whale” on social media with intension to exploit and profit at Tice’s ‘game’ (HU) – hyped it all up on social media with stupid cat pictures – start losing – immediately quit – coaches claim uncoachable”
Rabichow promises to defend Tice from these charges in his episode, and we look forward to hearing the thoughts of Bill Perkins.
Did Doug Polk Retire from YouTube After GPI Awards Snub?
There were a couple of shouts on Polk’s Twitter thread insinuating that he never got bored of making poker content, rather that he was “butt hurt” over being snubbed from the GPI Poker Awards in January 2020.
“Can you at least announce coming out of retirement and no longer butt hurt about pokerawards. Ps. Pls be funny and not a douche or overly analytical in new vlog. Thanks and suck it!”
Doug Polk posted:
“The GPI poker awards finalists came out yesterday, and this time, im not even nominated for any category Last year I made 74 poker videos for 35m views. I covered hands, news, and all kinds of poker topics. I didnt play poker but it was my most successful year ever for content.”
Whatever the reason for his hiatus, we’re all glad to see him finally back.
What to Expect from Doug Polk’s YouTube Channel
If Doug Polk is really back full time producing entertaining poker video content then we have a lot to look forward to. From interviews with popular characters from the poker community to the most current poker news, it’s all going to be there.
The Polker News is probably the most popular format on the channel and fans will be excitedly waiting in anticipation for its return.
Polk has an ability to really dig deep and get to the bottom of a wide range of possible issues, even if he does sometimes take advantage to slight his enemies.
Think about how hard he went against Alec Torelli for supposedly hiding high denomination chips at the back of his stack. Let’s not even think about what he’s said about Daniel Negreanu in the past.
