“A good reputation is more valuable than money,” wrote Publilius Syrus more than 2000 years ago, but for Grayson Hunter Goss it is apparently worth only $1,000. The Disney star and poker player was outed this week for a poker debt.
C’mon Grayson.
You’d ruin your entire reputation over a $1,000 scam? https://t.co/iXoye6LBxQ

The 21-year-old Houston-born actor is well-known for his voiceover work as Prince Hugo in the Disney animated series “Sofia the First” as well as playing Dylan on the Hub Network comedy, ‘S.H.R.I.E.K.’, as Dylan.
However, poker pro and streamer Ethan Yau, aka “Rampage Poker”, was less than impressed by Grayson Hunter Goss’s acting skills, the Twitter-verified public figure apparently no guarantee of being repaid.
“Unfortunate to say I fell victim to his little blue check mark and met him 3 times – each telling me he’s lost 30K+ after poker/blackjack sessions,” tweeted Yau.
“Didn’t think $1000 was actually enough to steal but here we are. Please learn from my mistakes, don’t trust anyone you don’t know,” adding a warning: “Apparently he runs a PokerBros group too, pretty obvious to not work/play with him.”
With poker Twitter on the case, it soon transpired that Goss had already scammed numerous people, including MTV “Teen Mom’s” star Kayla J…

As the numbers of Goss’s victims rose, he finally responded to Yau, but in the most unexpected way…the actor claiming to have been mugged for $12k in cash…
Update from Grayson. I don’t care about the $1000, I care more about the numerous people messaging me about how they got scammed by the same person pic.twitter.com/TOsWzDq6io

Whatever really happened to Goss – and the majority view was he’d had a run in with a bad make-up artist – few of Yau’s followers were falling for it, a selection of comments below:
- Did the muggers also kiss him on the forehead whilst wearing sexy lipstick?
- Unless bro was trying to buy crack off the strip there is going to be a police report and cameras.
- Yeah, I am thinking guy slammed his forehead into a wall or punched himself. Who gets hit in the middle of the forehead?
Although $1000 isn’t the biggest debt poker has ever seen, calling out the cheats and scammers is important to the community, allowing others to avoid being stung by the same bad pennies.
Just last month we shared how Lukas ‘Robin Poker’ Robinson took to Twitter to reveal fellow Englishman Alexander Harry Jones aka ‘ExzhibitA Poker’ & ‘Askari Poker’ as a conman.
Swedish online pro, Fredrik jamaica_111 Björklund, was another of the game’s low-life’s, not only scamming a fellow pro of more than $5k, but being abusive when pulled up about it.
Ethan Yau himself was called out last year, accused of running an illegal poker club and breaking financial laws by encouraging the transfer of funds for gambling purposes.
An angry post appeared in the News, Views, and Gossip section on the 2+2 forum trying to stir up trouble for the WSOP bracelet winner.
The accuser stated they had: “Screenshots as evidence of the seedy dealings between Mr. Yau A.K.A “Rampage” and his cohorts. This includes realtime transactions for gambling wagers, and video evidence of his co-conspirators deleting chat logs after taking money and refusing to honor a cash-out or refund.”
