Nik Airball has claimed that Garrett Adelstein was responsible for the end of his career in investment banking. The Hustler Casino Live reg revealed the accusation during a short interview with DGAF on stream, but plenty of viewers are not buying his story.
Airball told how the fallout from the infamous J4 hand between Garrett Adelstein and Robbi Jade Lew included Adelstein naming him as a part of a sophisticated cheating ring on the popular live stream.
He added that disgruntled poker fans contacted his employer, making his situation at work untenable. He then claims that he was left having to choose between his career or moving into poker full time, deciding on the latter.
Doug Polk Digs Deep into Nik Airball’s Story
In the above video, Doug Polk delves into how Nik Airball’s story just doesn’t add up for a man of his age. He points out that successful investment bankers with the kind of wealth Airball appears to have, are almost always much older.
Polk pulled up a selection of comments from a related Reddit thread that shows that Airball’s story isn’t believed by almost everybody.
One comment points out that Airball hesitates when he says that he worked for three different investment banks. Not something you would expect from a 28-year-old.
Another says that he worked for bottom tier firms and his wealth is family money.
As one poster said: this just doesn’t pass the smell test. Who in their right mind would give up a six or seven-figure job to play poker with no previous success of note.
Nor do I care that as of 2020 @nikairball was scumming people in small stakes private app games, not paying out but now suddenly has more money than god🤔

Matt Berkey Says Nik Airball Made His Money from Scamming People in Private Poker Games
One thread in this story that Doug Polk didn’t mention in his video was the accusation by Matt Berkey that Nik Airball made a lot of money scamming people in private poker app games.
Berkey tweeted that he knew that Airball had been accused of running small stakes private app games and not paying out to his players.
No evidence was provided but Berkey was firm in his accusation, saying that Airball now has more money than God out of nowhere.
Surprisingly, nobody has jumped on this story about Garrett Adelstein. In fact, Matt Berkey took some flak for sitting on this explosive news without previously revealing it to the community while Airball raises his profile on poker’s biggest live stream.
