Team GGPoker Pro Daniel Negreanu likes his WSOP bracelet odds
Daniel Negreanu has kicked off the traditional WSOP prop betting stakes with a $1million bracelet bet for the newly-announced online series.
The huge bet will see Negreanu pick up $2.5 Million if he manages to bag one of the 85 bracelets up for grabs.
As we announced last week, there will be 54 tournaments taking place on Negreanu’s new home at GGPoker with a further 31 events on WSOP.com.
The Canadian legend already has 6 shiny gold WSOP bracelets to his name, the first coming in 1998, and the most recent two at the 2013 WSOP Europe and WSOP Asia series.
These were all live events, however, whereas this year the action will only be taking place online, unless something changes in the next few months.
Regardless, it wasn’t long before Negreanu’s fans, followers and fellow pros were snapping up chunks of the action. Daniel Strelitz, the 2017 WPT LAPC champ and a bracelet winner himself got in first…

…though some left the decision in the lap of a coin toss…
It was tails. I’m out😂😂.
Best of luck hope you win multiple brackets this year🤙🏻 pic.twitter.com/xWqpU9HaDB

Several high rollers showing interest
Mike Timex McDonald was sniffing around, with some good questions thrown in…
Any guesses as to when GG will release schedule? Tough thing for people to bet on when presumably you have a better idea of what GG/in-person schedules may be like than they do.
Have you come out with a price you'd want on specifically a https://t.co/H6IVeVAf2Z bracelet?

…while Daniel’s answer made clear he plans to spend July in Vegas in order to play the 31 days of WSOP.com events – one per day – before heading to Mexico to try his luck on GGPoker
No but I’m all ears! What we know of the GG schedule is it’s 54 events starting July 19-Sep and I won’t play them until Aug 1.
Not sure exactly when we will release the schedule but hopefully before https://t.co/tOa6L4yo0q events begin.

Negreanu wasn’t content with just one huge bet, though, also offering up the chance to choose a rival to play against him in the bracelet race.
I will also bet myself against another player of your choice, you can pick yourself or a wizard.
Must win WSOP bracelet in 2020.
If both win it’s a push.
If neither win it’s a push.
Even money.

That one may come back to bite him, though, as the big boys of the high roller scene sniffed some possible prey, Daniel Dvoress, Conor Drinan, and Ali Imsirovicall fancying the even money challenge…

With a couple of weeks still to go before everything kicks off, the chances are we’ll see quite a few more WSOP bracelet prop bets among the stars.
With 85 chances to land the coveted piece of jewelry, Negreanu has a reasonable chance to add to his tally of six, but the clever money seems to suggest otherwise.
