It was already looking like a cash game line-up that you’d happily pay to be part of, and that has only been boosted by the shock news that Dan “Blitz” Bilzerian will be joining Neymar Jr. and other stars for HCL’s Legends of the Felt this coming weekend.
Even before Bilzerian was named it looked like the $50/$100 game was going to be a tremendous affair, with Brazilian soccer star Neymar Jr. locking horns with the likes of boxing champs Ryan Garcia and Chris Eubanks Jr. and NBA All-Star Jimmy Butler.

Rounding out the table are Brazilian social media sensation Luan “Jon Vlogs” Kovarik, pro gamer and streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, and regular pro at the biggest stakes on Hustler Casino Live, Alan Keating.
Is Bilzerian Poker’s Biggest-Ever Winner?
Bilzerian’s inclusion is sure to set the Hustler Casino in L.A. alight, the controversial, self-styled King of Instagram infamous for his outrageous behaviour towards women and his claims of $50-$100million in poker winnings.
Often described as a “trust-fund” poker player who allegedly plays with money squirreled away by his securities fraudster father, Bilzerian is no stranger to big-money cash games.
However, it has been a while since he graced our screens on poker night, after Bilzerian was fired from his ambassador role with GGPoker on International Women’s Day in 2022.
His claims of monster winnings in private highstakes games, though, were recently supported by some of the biggest names in the game.
Koon, Negreanu and Kornuth Support Bilzerian’s Claims
Jason Koon last year revealed he “knows for a fact” that the polarizing figure won massively in private highstakes games.
“Dan Bilzerian has definitely won a lot of money in poker; I don’t think he plays much anymore,” said Koon on the happy Hour podcast. “There may be some exaggerations in there, but I know for a fact that the dude has won millions upon millions against a few opponents.”
Daniel Negreanu was another big-name star to confirm Bilzerian’s claims, the figure of $100million bandied about. Responding to questions on X/Twitter, Negreanu stated: “…maybe I know more about it than you because I know people who play in private games with him that can attest to it being true.”
Chance Kornuth joined the band of top-name pros who can vouch for Bilzerian’s monster wins, revealing last year how he coached “Blitz” to a $10million heads-up win against a billionaire poker fan, Alec Gores.
9 years ago, I randomly got a call from Dan Bilzerian.
In his deep voice and no bullshit demeanor, he explained that he needed help preparing for an upcoming heads up match with a $1M buy-in against a billionaire in a few days.

That support, however, doesn’t say much for how good Bilzerian’s poker game is, the man himself admitting that he knows how to pick his games better than play them. Daniel Negreanu also mentioned the same trick: “You don’t have to be a good player to beat awful players. You just need to be less awful than they are.”
Just who the fish really is at this Saturday’s “Legends on the Felt” game remains to be seen, but with buy-ins expected to be set at $50k per player, it will be a costly business for some and a great night’s entertainment for the rest.
