Chris Frank has won the $100k PLO Main Event at Triton Montenegro while Wiktor Malinowski banked almost $5 million in the $200k NL.
As the Triton Super High Roller Series comes to a close in Montenegro, we have seen the action build up to a crescendo with the monster buy-in events.
While all tournaments at a Triton stop are populated by elite players, the six-figure buy-in events are always that little bit more special.
PLO might not be as popular as NL hold’em, even after all these years, but the Main Event is great to watch.
VIP-Grinders superstar player Andras Nemeth came ever so close to adding another big score to his record, eventually busting out in 20th place.
And after all was said and done, it was Germany’s Chris Frank who stood glorious, collecting $2,008,910.
The 29-year-old made the trip to Montenegro just to play in this first-ever PLO Main Event at a Triton series and defeated the 83-entry strong field, eventually agreeing a deal with American PLO specialist Dylan Weisman.
PLO cash game legend Ben Tollerene was also in the mix, finishing seventh for a $391,000 score.

Wiktor “Limitless” Malinowski Claims Glory in $200K NL
The biggest score of the Triton Super High Roller Series Montenegro has landed in the lap of online cash genius Wiktor “Limitless” Malinowski.
The Pole topped the 93 entries (including 32 re-entries) to scoop $4,789,000, just pipping the $4,737,000 that Mikalai Vaskaboinikau picked up for his victory in the NL Main Event.
Malinowski found himself in the unenviable situation of playing in what has been described as the toughest final table ever by some commentators on social media.
He was facing elite talent that saw names such as Stephen Chidwick, Christoph Vogelsang, Bryn Kenney, Ding Biao, Patrik Antonius, and Paul Phua all just failing to make the final nine.
We guess this is what you expect in a $200,000 buy-in tournament!
