Charlie Carrel has found himself stuck in Amsterdam airport after refusing to wear a mask for his flights. The Brit tweeted updates from his travels and looks to have lost a prop bet with Max Silver.

Charlie Carrel Stuck in Airport after Refusing to Wear Mask
Charlie Carrel has become one of the most outspoken critics of Covid-19 containment policies around the world, often bordering the realm of outrageous conspiracies.
His refusal to wear a mask under any circumstances was followed by describing those who follow the rules as mass psychosis, insulting many of his followers.
It isn’t clear if this attempt to travel via air without a mask served any purpose other than making a point. He clearly stated that he would rather go to jail than follow the “cult”.
Max Silver was quick to spot an opportunity, encouraging Carrel to bet with him that it would be impossible to get on a plane without a mask, let alone complete his planned trip of a return flight from London to Amsterdam.

Carrel completed the first leg of his journey successfully, but then found himself stuck in the Netherlands unable to board his connecting flight.
“I made it to Amsterdam, my connection stop, but their strict Covid mask rules meant that I couldn’t make it on the flight. I spent 5 hours in free fall, close to being detained a couple of times, but had a tonne of fun. Expensive and exhausting lesson: Fly direct”
Quite how he didn’t see this coming is more than ridiculous.
Charlie Carrel is now trying to find an alternative route home, probably one that doesn’t involve air travel.

Max Silver tried to keep the story going by offering Carrel a $25,000 free roll for charity but the pair look to still be arguing over the details of what was offered.
Silver wants Carrel to do the trip again and document it with video footage.
Is all this really happening, or is Charlie Carrel just putting on a show? Many Twitter followers are in doubt, accusing him of attention seeking.
