Bryn Kenney has publicly accepted Doug Polk’s $1,000,000 heads-up challenge, but only under a format he chooses. The super high roller tournament star refuses to play Polk in a deep stacked cash game format but continues to try and agree terms.
@DougPolkVids I accept your heads up challenge, 1 million dollar high stakes duel just like they do it. Winner gives atleast 20% to charity.

Bryn Kenney Plays Hardball and Demands Polk Accepts His Terms
Kenney favours a straight up $1 million tournament format where the winner gives 20% to a charity of their choice.
Of course this sounds very reasonable but it is likely just a ruse to get the poker community on his side, pressurising Polk to accept a format where he won’t be a heavy favourite, or indeed a favourite at all.
Doug Polk was quick to sus out that Bryn Kenney was angling for public sympathy by bringing a charity donation into the argument. He points out that he’s only after Kenney’s money and not interested in the “betterment of society.”
Doug Polk Still Unclear on Accepting the New Terms
Are you talking about playing a husng? Not what I challenged you to, but I could see why you’d want up the variance.
Can we cut the bullshit on trying to include charity to make yourself look better? If I’m playing you its to take your money, not for the betterment of society. https://t.co/d2kYVCtWB7

Kenney insists that it’s not fair to fit a month-long match into his already busy schedule, particularly just as live poker in the US is starting to take off once again. He says that a one day show will be good for the fans, especially as it will be high-stakes.
A day after offering a challenge on his terms, Kenney tried to rile Polk with the standard trope of calling him a coward.
Doug Polk, maybe surprisingly, admitted that he isn’t rich enough to be effectively flipping for $1 million, and counter-insulted Kenney by saying it’s him who is scared to play a real format because he’s “a complete dolt.”
Amusingly, Bill Perkins thought this a good time to angle for a 9bb/100 head start on a match with Doug Polk. Polk responded that he would rather “spend a month in a Tibetan temple with Bryn.”
For those who weren’t aware, Perkins originally tried to set up this 9bb/100 head start match against Doug Polk before Landon Tice fell into his trap.
Will Bryn Kenney Ever Get to Play a High-Profile Heads-Up Challenge Match?
Bryn Kenney has been angling for one of these matches ever since they became fashionable again.
The Galfond Challenge and High stakes Feud between Doug Polk and Daniel Negreanu set off a new interest in watching these battles over the last 18 months while COVID-19 lockdowns were still in place.
Bryn Kenney clearly wants to try and cash in but can’t get any takers. Kenney tried to rope Phil Hellmuth into a match back in April with a tweet that ended up offending the 15-time WSOP bracelet holder. Understandably, he got no joy there too.
