The Greatest Heaters in Poker History
Every now and then, a player in the high rolller tournament scene starts going on an absolute tear and starts crushing it.
In 2014, it was Dan Coleman. It 2016, it was Fedor Holz. And 2018, of course, was Justin Bonomo’s year.
In 2019, it looks like it’s Bryn Kenney’s turn – however, this might be a bit different from the rest.
Bryn Kenney already has $10 Million in winnings this year!
See, this isn’t the first time Kenney outperformed everyone in the live tournament circuit. In 2017, he was actually the best tournament earner, ahead of WSOP Main Event champ Scott Blumstein and Aria Super High Roller Bowl winner Christoph Vogelsang!

That year, the American poker pro cashed for a total of $8,505,898. In 2019, however, he already surpassed that – and it’s not even June yet…
Bryn Kenney’s Insane Poker Results 2019
He started the new year with a modest, $17,620 payday at the PCA in the Bahamas. Then, he took down the A$10K Main Event at this year’s Aussie Millions for US$914,617.
He won a US Open tourney for $450,000 in February. Then, at the Triton high roller series this spring, things really started going for him.
In Jeju, South Korea he finished 4th in the HK$500,000 6-handed event for just under US$500K. He followed up with a 2nd in the HK2,000,000 Main Event for US$3,062,513. The latter one is actually the biggest single live tournament cash of his career.
Bryn Kenney wins two tournaments at the Triton Super High Roller Series Montenegro
At the Triton Super High Roller Series Montenegro, he won two Triton tournaments.
First, he bested the field in another HK$500,000 6-handed event for which he got US$1,431,376.
Only two days later, he triumphed in the $HK1,000,000 Main Event for US2,713,859. The 44-player field featured such superstars as Jason Koon, Nikita “fish2013” Bodyakovskiy and Erik Seidel.
Can Bryn Kenney become the Number 1 in the All Time Money List?
Overall in 2019, Kenney cashed 8 times for a combined $9.116 million. This made him jump all the way up to the 4th position on Hendon’s All Time Money List.
As of now, Kenney’s lifetime tournament earnings is at $34.8 million. He’s one of the 6 players who crossed the $30 million mark.
He’s within $1 million of Erik Seidel at 3rd place. He, evidently, can be overtaken any time soon. Kenney will have a harder time caching Negreanu at second place with $39.83 million and – especially – Justin Bonomo with $44.626 million.
Last year, Bonomo racked up an insane $25.4 million in live tournament cashes which propelled him to top of the all time list.
He took over Daniel Negreanu with a victory at the $1 million buy-in Big One for One Drop event at the WSOP. In 2014, Negreanu dethroned Antonio Esfandiari on the top tournament earners ranking by finishing second in the very same event for $8.288 million.
This year, there is no $1 million tourney on the WSOP schedule. The biggest buy-in event is “only” a $100K high roller. This means it’s harder for Kenney to take over the number one spot, since cashing in a $1 mil tournament can boost your Hendon stats a lot, evidently.
