The 33 bracelet online series kicked off, literally, with the $500 5th Annual WSOP Kick Off, which we’ll get to shortly, but let’s first take a look at how Kenney bagged his second WSOP gold.

The $2100 buy in event #3 on the schedule attracted 798 entries, which meant a $1,596,700 prizepool of which the top 92 finishers would partake.

By the time they had been whittled down to the final table, two Brazilians were in contention, Dennys Ramos and Julio Steffen, with Kenney and Timothy “JoeExotic69” Rutherford both sporting the maple leaf flag of Canada. Throw in a Russian, a Ukrainian, an Austrian and a Monegasque I had to look it up too! and the scene was set for some thrilling poker.

Kenney had gone a decade since winning his first WSOP bracelet, the $1,500 Ten Game Mix Six Handed title in Vegas back in 2024. Since then, of course, he has become a household name for both good and bad reasons, including his position as all-time moneywinner in tournament poker with over $67million in lifetime earnings.

This week it was the good Kenney on show, eventually edging out Ukraine’s Andrii Derzhypilskyi heads up to lift the title and a combined $226,057.13 $94,635.24 + $131,421.89 bounty
