Brandon Cantu fired harsh shots on Daniel Negreanu saying how bad he is in heads-up and then things escalated quickly resulting in a challenge to play for “Big. Big Money”.
Brandon Cantu fires harsh shots at Daniel Negreanu’s heads-up play
Sorry @RealKidPoker to say this but, You played horribly vs @DougPolkVids absolutely crucified. Played @phil_hellmuth absolutely dismantled 2nd time in row. Has infinite 2nd places in @WSOP . If lose 3rd time in row it’s fair to say you just aren’t great at heads up! #Facts

“You played horribly against Doug Polk”
Brandon Cantu started with criticising Daniel’s play in the High Stakes Feud Heads-Up Challenge claiming he played “horribly” vs. Doug Polk.
But as this was not enough he continued to bash Negreanu’s heads-up skills saying he:
“Played Phil Hellmuth absolutely dismantled 2nd time in row. Has infinite 2nd places in WSOP. If lose 3rd time in row it’s fair to say you just aren’t great at heads up!
Daniel Negreanu gets personal
Daniel Negreanu then offered Cantu 3-2 odds when betting against him in High Stakes Duel II round 3 against Phil Hellmuth.
Cantu responded with posting a screenshot of Negreanu’s direct messages insulting him and then things really took off and got personal:
“Dead beat thief is what you are”
I’d play you too but feel it’s only right you pay back all the money you scammed people out of and robbed.
Dead beat thief is what you are.

Daniel is referring to Brandon Cantu publically admitting that he is broke in 2017, while apparently owning Shaun Deeb money.
Heads-Up for $100 Million Incoming?
They went back and forth and in the process Brandon Cantu stated that he will put some big, big money on the line when playing DNegs heads-up:
Here’s where it’s gets good.. @RealKidPoker I will make sure my infinite $ is put up by my big money crew and your 100M or whatever you are worth these days by your lucky 1/4 of 1% of @PokerStars share stock you had to get rich.(Not from poker you’re a joke)

It finished off with Cantu saying PokerGO could film it and Negreanu shouldn’t bother showing up unless he had at least $100 million.
We have seen several Heads-Up challenges recently, but seeing a real heads-up for rolls at least on Cantu’s part would be something new and very exciting.
