Alex Foxen calls Phil Hellmuth’s Q4o worst call in poker history

It may be “White Magic” to some, but to Alex Foxen it is just a terrible play, calling Phil Hellmuth’s infamous Q4o All-in call the worst call in history.

Alex Foxen was referencing last year’s US Poker Open clash, where this happened in the $25k buy-in event #4…

Giving Hellmuth credit for his incredible results – 17 WSOP bracelets among them – Alex Foxen states the Poker Brat “does a lot of things that don’t really make any theoretical sense.”

Hellmuth’s 3-bet sizing comes in for criticism, as does his decision to shove, Foxen claiming Hellmuth “didn’t know what to do and just decided, ‘Whatever, I’ll gamble’.

To add insult to injury, Foxen had to play nice at Hellmuth’s parting shot of “I hope you have a bit more respect for me.”

We all know what would have happened had the shoe been on the other foot, Hellmuth’s blow-ups legendary when he gets lucked-out on. In fact, it happened in the very same event…

In a humorous twist, the following year both players were at the final table of the very same event and Foxen “did a Polk” and unveiled a t-shirt commemorating the Q4o hand.
