Jordan Saccucci kicked out of WSOP Paradise after being hunted by Canadian police

Jordan Saccucci, last year’s EPT Prague Main Event winner, has been unceremoniously booted from the WSOP Paradise Main Event in the Bahamas despite claiming to be innocent of recent claims he was connected to a robbery spree in Canada.

The 33-year-old Canadian was spotted playing day 1b of the WSOP Paradise Main Event currently underway on the Atlantis Paradise Island.

That surprised the poker community who had only just been informed that Jordan Saccucci was being hunted by police in connection with more than 30 residential break-and enter crimes.

It also didn’t sit well with the Atlantis Paradise casino, who promptly 86’d Saccucci from their property, with the WSOP agreeing to his DQ and exclusion.

Jordan Saccucci, however, is adamant that he is no longer a suspect in the string of robberies and claimed: “I haven’t been convicted for anything like this since 2016 which is seven years ago.”

The part-time pro, part-time housebreaker from Mississauga had his mugshot plastered across the news pages as an alleged member of a four-man gang

Police described the gang’s modus operandi:

“The suspects may approach the front door of residences during daytime hours with their identities concealed using surgical masks or face coverings, and wear hoods and gloves. If confronted by homeowners, the suspects may provide an unconvincing excuse pertaining to some sort of construction or landscaping service before quickly departing.”

Saccucci, who appears to have brought his mask to Paradise Island, insists he is out on bond after finally being arrested on December 5th by Milton police.

He also claims that previous charges of a similar nature were thrown out stating: “As for my 2021 case, those charges have been tossed out in court and there is record of that, which I can provide proof of.

He added: “Halton and Peel regional police have charged me in the past and I was found not guilty. Two officers on the police force were found guilty of lying under oath and were suspended two months without pay, and there is also record of that.”

Jordan Saccucci didn’t elaborate on the most recent arrest, for which he and an alleged accomplice was charged with 68 offences. He did, however, admit to his previous run-ins with the law:

“Yes, I have a past but I’m sure everyone does. I ain’t perfect but the truth is I haven’t been convicted for anything like this since 2016 which is seven years ago.”

This time last year, Saccucci chose EPT Prague for his winter getaway and it paid off big style as he scooped the Main Event for €913,250 ($962,126).

Neither the Atlantis Paradise Island Casino nor the WSOP have commented on Jordan Saccucci’s reported exclusion and expulsion.
