Daniel Negreanu was among a number of poker players who tore into Hans Niemann after the chess cheat accused popular streamer Alexandra Botez of “promoting degeneracy” by sharing poker content.
Wait, aren’t you the dude who allegedly stuck buzzing anal beads up his ass in a chess match?
That is you right? The anal bead guy?
Poker is a strategy game you clown
So is chess
You can gamble on either
Or you can play either for fun

Niemann, for those who have been living under a rock, is the self-confessed, multiple-times online chess cheat who hit the headlines last year after former World Chess champion, Magnus Carlsen, refused to play him.
This week the US grandmaster, who many believe hasn’t yet cheated in the live arena, launched an attack on Alexandra Botez and her younger sister Andrea Botez for their poker-related content.
“I think when you get a million subscribers that’s when you should start promoting gambling, poker, making money off that – I think that’s a very responsible thing to do for your brand,” said Niemann sarcastically.
He added: “To promote degeneracy and help people get addicted to gambling.”
Profiting off of gambling of any kind is highly immoral. You are paid by these poker sites to get your viewers addicted and lose their hard-earned money. For every player that you sign up, YOU MAKE MONEY. How do you think they recoup the ridiculous amount of money that they pay… https://t.co/c8xrf24q7w

Niemann, who recently dropped his $100million lawsuit against Carlsen and others, didn’t stop there.
“I’m sure those little kids look up to you guys and they subscribe to your Fan House, for your special photos…and I’m sure those young kids also sign up for poker accounts as well, and gamble all their savings away.”
Niemann’s incel-like rant didn’t go down well in the poker community, who have endured years of having their game lumped in with general gambling.
Alongside chess fan DNegs’ takedown, above, writer Jennifer Newell responded: “You seem like a bitter little fellow. Perhaps you should know something about poker before making this shit video.”
Poker and gambling streamer, “TheBensBenz”, also took issue with Niemann: “I’ve seen a lot of losers in my lifetime. But u may top the cake.”
Alexandra Botez, who made a day 4 run at the WSOP Main Event this year, responded to Niemann…
I get that you’re upset at the world for how everyone responded to the cheating accusations. Always down to discuss any issues you might have with poker or otherwise if you want to actually chat. If it’s just for clickbait and views, then you’re no better than everyone you…

20-year-old Niemann, who denied using vibrating anal beads to cheat his opponents and recently claimed that online cheating in chess is “meaningless”, still tried to claim the moral high ground.
“Profiting off of gambling of any kind is highly immoral. You are paid by these poker sites to get your viewers addicted and lose their hard-earned money. For every player that you sign up, YOU MAKE MONEY. How do you think they recoup the ridiculous amount of money that they pay you.”
