Jordan Cristos has crossed the line by threatening to send Shaun Deeb “to the bottom of the ocean” in an expletive-laden personal attack. The death threat is apparently a response to a perceived slight, with Cristos warning Deeb to “zip your fucking lip”…

A shocked Deeb was unable to recall even mentioning Cristos in the Twitter Spaces convo, but that didn’t stop the Palmdale pro from launching himself at the New York poker legend.

Not that it’s the first time that Cristos has been accused of lashing out at others, with a GoFundMe set up for alleged domestic abuse back in 2020.

While it isn’t known how that story ended, this week saw poker journalist Jennifer Newell tweeting: “Jordan is a known stalker, has harassed numerous women in poker, and regularly threatens to harm or kill people.”
She told Deeb: “If he has his sights set on you, go to the police, please. They have a substantial file on him already.”
Cristos is also well-known to the poker community as a serial tanker, his slow-play seeing him criticised multiple times by Daniel Negreanu.
This didn’t go down too well with Jordan Cristos, who called DNegs a “pathological compulsive liar” with Negreanu replying: “If everyone acted the way Jordan Cristos does in tournament poker, it would cease to exist.”
Back to the Deeb beef and although not everyone likes the 6-time WSOP bracelet winner, it appears that in this instance he has done nothing wrong.
