Ian Drake defeats Rodrigo Selouan in the Titans Event
Ian Drake from the Isle of Man, better known as “Drakeylfc”, showed that he is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to online tournaments by winning the PokerStars Titans Event last night.
56 of the world’s best poker tournament players paid the large $5,200 buy-in and smashed the $250K Guarantee by 12%.
Only 7 places were paid and Austrian online crushed Thomas “WushuTM” Mühlöcker was the last player, who had to leave the tournament empty-handed.
Biggest names that made the money were Ole “wizowizo” Schemion, Yuri “theNERDguy” Dzivielevski and upcoming superstar Leon “RUMUKULUS” Sturm.
Heads-up for the title were online high stakes regulars “Drakeylfc” and Rodrigo “SELOUAN1991” Selouan with the Brazilian coming up short.

888poker generousy increased the guaranteed prize pool from $25k to $30,000, but 58 entries just fell short to cover it.
The most popular name on the final table was Tomi Brouk aka “wellyxx” and he was once again unstoppable.
Heads-up for the title he faced and beat “Hvalavam” from Montenegro to secure the staggering $9,750 first place prize.
