Daniel Smiljkovic wins two Sunday Majors at GGNetwork
The $20,000,000 GGMILLION$ Week is the big tournament highlight at GGNetwork at the moment and Event #2 was a $5,250 Bounty Hunters Super High Roller.
57 players paid the large $5,250 buy-in and boosted the $200K Guarantee by more than 42%!
$44,062.50 and $30,515.05 in bounties were waiting for the winner and we saw a very tough final table including the likes of Swedish superstars Niklas “Lena900” Astedt, Simon “C.Darwin2” Mattson.
Heads-up for the title were Russian pro Nikita Kuznetsov and German online regular Daniel Smiljkovic, who had the better end for himself and secured the $74,577.70 first place prize.
Smiljkovic then continued his sun run in the $250 Sunday Main Event, where he outlasted a huge 1,156 player field to win his second major title in one night at GGNetwork.
Other notables at the final table were Vlad Martynenko and French pro Cedric Schwaederle.
The latter even made it to heads-up play, but Daniel Smiljkovic proved to be too much to overcome.
Daniel Smiljkovic adds more than $100,000 in prize money at PokerStars
As if two major titles at GG were not enough, Daniel aka “SmilleThHero” was also crushing at the same time on PokerStars.
Once again he reached a heads-up and that in the Titans Event, the most expensive weekly tournament at PokerStars!
After “OMGitshunt” busted in 3rd place, Daniel Smiljkovic and “Ebaaa11” chopped the remaining prize pool adding another $74,182.68 to his bankroll.
Unbelivable, but true Daniel Smiljkovic still was hungry and did manage to reach a fourth heads-up in one single night.
This time in the $530 Bounty Builder High Roller, where he faced fellow online crusher Georgi “millennial” Sandev.
This time Smiljkovic had to settle for second place worth $18.000 and he also finished 4th in the Sunday High Roller for $9.000 increasing his total winnings at Stars on that day to over $100.000.
With this incredible performance, Daniel Smiljkovic has also cracked the magical $10,000,000-mark in online tournament winnings.
