The PokerStars Team Online pro was trying his luck in the $20 buy-in Sunset Series Sunday Saver when he struck gold – or so it seemed!
Set-over-set-over-set looked like a gimme quadruple-up for the popular streamer, his flopped jacks against 8s and 3s, as well as pocket queens, only having to avoid the pair of one-outers on the turn and river.
Excited, as he had every right to be, Toronto-based TwitchTV poker streamer Shaban could only watch on in horror as the river brought in the only remaining snowman in the deck.
“He hit quads, what, what, what?” screamed a shocked Shaban.
Rendered momentarily speechless, the one-time Canadian Big Brother contestant added, “That was disgusting!” as his voice returned.
To add insult to injury, Andrew “LuckyChewy” Lichtenberger spotted what everyone else seems to have missed:

Fortunately for Shaban, he hadn’t flopped trips on that board and so didn’t suffer a double bustout.
