Garrett Adelstein has publically challenged Nik Airball to a $500/$1000 heads-up match with a $500,000 minimum buy-in on Twitter.
King of LA @nikairball,
As I have yet to hear back, figured I’d jog your memory. Here is the video where you graciously challenged me to HU. Again, I accept this offer and look forward to you proving to everyone you aren’t completely full of shit every time you open your mouth. pic.twitter.com/lzuIR2lUYl— Garrett Adelstein (@GmanPoker) May 7, 2023
Nik Airball loses $1,029,700 to Matt Berkey in Heads-Up Grudge Match
The ink is barely dry on Nik Airball’s disastrous Heads-Up Grudge Match loss against Matt Berkey, where Airball lost an incredible $1,029,700 in less than 60 hours!
HU Match Result: -$1,029,700
Congrats to Berkey. He played well and won the match. I’ll make a longer post in a couple days. ✌🏾

Garrett Adelstein, who initially rejected the offer of a highstakes straightener due to becoming a father, now wants his piece of Airball.
He tweeted: “I would like to officially accept @nikairball challenge to play me $500/$1000+ heads up now that things have settled down a bit at home with my newborn.”
The Tucson-born pro added: “As he loves to say, enough talking, let’s just settle this on the felt. I will have every cent of my own action as requested.”
The pair fell out in the wake of the Adelstein-Lew Hustler Casino Live cheating investigation, which exonerated Lew and left Adelstein out in the cold at HCL.
Adelstein, apparently out of the blue, attacked Airball on Twitter…
PC Garrett has died. Airball is bad poker player and a much worse human being. Fuck that guy.

HCL reg Nik Airball, real name Nikhil Arcot, responded to the slur…
I’m a bad person? I don’t block people from games, I don’t rank the recreational players I want to play with, I battle ANYONE, and most importantly – when I get owned I don’t ask for a refund. https://t.co/gqu5jsjjVU

…and then took to the Doug Polk podcast to reveal his thoughts on the drama, explaining that the idea of him being behind Adelstein’s HCL ban is “the furthest from the truth”…
The feud quickly grew arms and legs, but with Adelstein’s baby arriving, it was left to Matt Berkey to take up Airball’s challenge, and we know how that ended.
Will Airball defend his honour and put another huge chunk of money on the line against Garrett Adelstein? He hasn’t responded so far, but when he does, we’ll let you know![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
