Matt Berkey completely crushed Nik Airball in the last two sessions of their Heads-Up Grudge Match opening a monster lead.

The duo have been battling it out in a 100-hour, heads-up No Limit Hold’em (HUNL) match at stakes of $200/$400, a $100,000 minimum buy-in ensuring huge pots from the very beginning.

Matt Berkey wins more than $350,000 in 6.5 hours!

Things started to go very badly for Airball last week when he lost $379,000 in one session, with Berkey overturning the deficit he’d  somehow found himself in.

Ryan Feldman tweeted out one particular big hand: “Nik 3b 4800, Matt called Flop AQJ, Nik 15k, call Turn Q, Nik 45k, call River 2, Nik 100k, Matt all in for 241k Nik tanked 5 minutes and folded.”

The match between @berkey11 vs @nikairball resumes tomorrow.

Even Rob Yong, in town to film some High Stakes Poker and no stranger to the nosebleed games, felt for Airball as things went against him.

Now into the second half of their bitter grudge match, it remains to be seen if Airball can claw his way back or whether Berkey will stretch his lead out to seven figures.
