PokerStars took a big risk with putting a massive $700,000 guarantee on the Sunday Storm 12th Anniversary, since it meant they need at least 72,000 entries to cover it!
It paid off in the end as 72,568 players signed up, which was enough to exceed the guarantee.
There was $712,048.40 in the prize pool and a whopping $13,391.39 in the prize pool and all of that for a tiny buy-in of only $11!
Due to the high number of entries, the Sunday Storm 12th Anniversary is a 2-Day-Event.
They are already deep into the money with 2,516 players left and 11,839 paid places. Chip leader after Day 1 is “TARONO8088” from Armenia followed by “Celebes87” from Poland.

Ben Wilinofsky aka NeverScaredB on PokerStars is one of the true online poker tournament OG’s. He has been around for around 15 years now and still has what it takes to win major online events.
A whopping 939 players signed up for GG’s signature event, the GGMasters, and smashed the $750K guarantee by generating a $939,000 prize pool.
Big names, who made the final table, included online poker legend Andras “probirs” Nemeth, Kubanychbek Abakirov and Ben Wilinofsky.
The latter was unstoppable and made it to 3-handed play, where he struck an ICM deal with Brazilian online regular Allison Luan Lima Eleres and Polish player “StrA1dEr”, securing him the biggest cash worth a staggering $108,722.

The $215 buy-in Sunday Big Shot 8-Max is one of the highlights of the Sunday Grind at 888poker.
61 entries were just enough to cover the $12,000 guarantee and there were six places paid with $4,514 up top.
“Escabafildo” from Brazil was the last player, who had to leave the tournament empty-handed, while the remaining six had secured $671.
Heads-up for the trophy were “creature94” from Finland and “donmoran1” from the UK.
The Brit had the better end for himself and was rewarded with a $4,514 top prize for winning this prestigious event.
