Will Kassouf has been accused of running away from a cash game table with his chips after getting stacked. Respected live tournament player Leo Worthington-Lees posted an Instagram video telling the story, calling him a scammer.

Worthington-Lees explained that Will Kassouf had just been stacked for €300 in a PLO cash game where everyone else was sitting €2-3K deep and straight away he got stacked again after getting the money in drawing dead on the turn.
While the pot was being calculated, Kassouf picked up his chips and ran from the playing hall, effectively stealing from his opponent.
Will Kassouf has a history of upsetting people around a poker table and it’s doubtful that this will be the last time his name comes up connected to some form of negative press.
Only a few nights ago, Hendon Mob legend Barny Boatman told how he spotted Kassouf trying to scam €30 out of a pot when he sat without chips and announced his stack.
Kassouf called a flop bet and a raise and then placed €300 behind, failing to put his announced call into the pot once he had chips. Boatman said he waited for his turn to point out the mistake when Kassouf did a poor job of feigning ignorance.
Last night: He sat without chips announced he was €300 behind, ‘called’ a bet and raise of €30 then put three 100’s on the table. He called a flop bet but didn’t put the 30 in. I waited till turn to point it out. ‘Oh, how much do I owe?’ he says. He obviously knew he’d done it.

Poker writer Barry Carter was more forthright in what he thought of Will Kassouf.
Real measure of a man when stories about him start ‘you know that cunt’

Will Kassouf Has Form for Unethical Behaviour
One Twitter poster wrote that he has read that Will Kassouf is now banned from all events run by JP McCann, the Tournament Director and Host for the Irish Open.
We will have to see how other organisers respond to this incident during the recent climate of taking a hard stance on players who exhibit unethical behaviour as this is not the first controversial story linked to the Englishman.
In 2018, Will Kassouf was caught stealing $100 chips at a roulette table at a Grosvenor casino, who was also his sponsor.
The theft cost him his sponsorship deal and he was handed a lifetime ban from all Grosvenor properties.
