Daniel Negreanu has claimed that banned high stakes RTA poker cheater Ali Imsirovic is not only still cheating, but is also bragging about robbing former friends.
Before knowing about Ali Imsirovic’s transgressions I thought he was a lifer who loved the game and would be a tournament fixture for a long time.
I’m hearing that he is continuing his antics and is likely irredeemable at this point

DNegs says: “I’m hearing that he is continuing his antics and is likely irredeemable at this point,” and states: “All operators both online and live should proactively ban him indefinitely.”
He adds thatAli Imsirovic “is the opposite of remorseful and is actual boastful, bragging about robbing former friends.”
Daniel Negreanu’s tweet has re-opened the can of worms that first had the lid lifted by Alex Foxen, who accused the Bosnian pro of both live and online cheating.
Ali is known as a cheater to almost all in the high roller community, however without much ironclad proof, most stay silent. After watching this hand on the SHRB live stream, enough is enough.

Similar accusations against Jake Schindler followed and the pair were soon outed as being banned by GGPoker in a mass crackdown on high stakes cheats suspected of using Real-Time Assistance (RTA).
Neither player would publicly comment on the allegations against them, and although they were in action at the 2022 WSOP, they have not made live appearances since.
They were banned from the PokerGO Tour and have not appeared at any of the recent Triton Poker SHR events either, both tours having signed up to the Poker Integrity Council, headed by Jason Koon and formed in the wake of the accusations.
Negreanu had previously hinted at the exclusion of both Imsirovic and Schindler from last year’s Poker Masters…
Poker Masters today and I’m betting we don’t see Jake Schindler or Ali Imsirovic play any of the events…

Daniel Negreanu added: “If you cheat and steal from others in the poker community you will now face actual consequences. That’s a good thing.”
Although DNegs doesn’t name his sources for this week’s tweet, it is believed that Imsirovic has been playing on unregulated poker sites and still using RTA, as well as multi-accounting.
Matt Berkey was quick to give his own take on what needs to be done to rein in those who cheat.
We’ve all been somewhat quiet regarding more swirling rumors. I think online operators are facing a long, cold hard look in the mirror. We need to get MA under control, KYC protocols need massive overhaul in the gray/black markets & finally AI based RTA detection is a mandatory… https://t.co/xW2ifiUDG3

Negreanu’s claims come in a week that has seen Ryan Laplante and others call out the owners of GTO training tool Odin for removing an anti-cheating delay on their product.
Meanwhile, 888poker have shown that some operators are committed to stamping out the cheats, confiscating $290,000 from cheats last year and returning it to affected players.
