bencb789 wins the PokerStars Titans Event again!
bencb789 has been dominating online poker tournaments for years and last night he once again showed what he is made off by winning PokerStars signature tournament, the $5,200 Titans Event again and adding two Top 4 Finishes in other Sunday Majors on top.
The Titans Event generates Sunday after Sunday a world-class field with almost only top players paying the large $5,200 buy-in.
Yesterday it were only 47 of them, which was not enough to cover the $250,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Six places were paid and Bubble Boy became another German online legend “WATnlos”, while “aminolast” from Canada secured the whopping $13,223.47 min-cash.
Other players, who made the money were the man himself “Lena900”, Anatoly “NL_Profit” Filatov, Futureoflife, Dimitar “KuuL” Danchev and Benjamin “bencb789” Rolle.
The latter two legends of tournament poker battled for the prestigious title and the staggering $87,884.54 first place prize.
Bencb had the better end for himself and already won the $5,200 for the second time!
But bencb789 was far from being done as he had another two deep runs in Sunday Majors left, which both took him to the final table.
In the legendary Sunday Warm-Up he came very close to a double whammy, by making it again to heads-up play. This time, the German came up short though losing to Swedish online regular “flerrehuve”.
Ben’s last deep run took him to the final table of the $1,050 Sunday High Roller. 103 players signed up and so the $100,000 was boosted by 3%.
On a tough final table including the likes of Alex “Pwndidi” Theologis , Pedro “gusmaa” Madeira, Vlad “dariepoker” Darie and Stevan “random_chu” Chew, bencb789 busted in 4th place for $5,883.
The trophy went to Ukraine represented by player “234241234214432”, who well-deserved his first major title, by defeating Brazilian online regular “gusmaa” heads-up to land a nice $24,538.86 score.
To conclude, we let bencb789 sum up this sun run in his own words:
