Robbi Jade Lew has passed a lie detector test, posting the results on Twitter in the hope that this will finally put an end to this latest cheating scandal. Sadly for her, this doesn’t seem to be the case with many unconvinced by the accuracy of polygraph testing.

Polygraph testing is inadmissible in a court of law due to concerns over its accuracy. PsychologyToday.com reports that tests in use today are an average of 87% accurate which isn’t that bad but far from infallible.
Robbi Lew was asked a series of questions by an operator named James Hannah and the end result was a determination of “No Deception Detected.”
The main questions, to which Lew answer “no,” were the following three:
- Were you using any cheating devices while engaged in the Hustler Casino Live poker games?
- Did you cheat in any way during the Hustler Casino Live poker games?
- Did you conspire with anyone during the Hustler Casino live poker games to cheat?
None of the other questions were made public.

While we can’t criticise Lew for doing everything she can to clear her name, it is obvious that anybody planning such a cheating scheme should use burner phones and other untraceable technology.
Lew also spent time last week passing over evidence to Gardena Police detective Hugo Gualotuna related to Bryan Sagbigsal and the theft of $15,000 from her chip stack on the September 29 show.
Initially, Lew refused to press charges, under the impression that Sagbigsal had a clean record. However, once it became known that he had an extensive list of previous offences, Lew decided to press charges after all.
It seems that there is little else Robbi Jade Lew can do to persuade the poker community of her innocence.
The tide does appear to have turned in her favour over the last few days but investigations are still ongoing and there are still many big names in the community who are convinced of her guilt.
