The 2022 WSOP Main Event is down to the final four players with one of them destined to go home with a massive $10 million prize. The current chip leader is Norway’s Espen Jorstad with massive lead on his three rivals with 298,000,000 chips.

Espen Jorstad Massive Chip Leader with 3 Left
So, it will be Espen Jorstad who leads the way into Day 2 of the 2022 WSOP Main Event final table. His tablemates will be Aussie Adrian Attenborough and America’s Michael Duek.
The Norwegian has double the amount of chips of his closest rival, with Duek lagging behind in dire need of a double-up to maintain his challenge.
Day 7 Chip Leader Jeffrey Farnes Eliminated in 6th Place
Day 1 of the final table action got off to a quick start with Asher Conniff busting out in only the seventh hand of the day. The American got his pocket tens in pre-flop and was in a race against the ace-king of Michael Duek.
Incredibly, three kings came down on the flop sending the rail into a frenzy and Conniff headed to the door.
Day 7 chip leader Jeffrey Farnes lasted somewhat longer, getting eliminated in sixth place after the board double-paired, counterfeiting his pocket deuces. We guess the $1,750,000 pay day will dull the pain of that.
Croatia’s Matija Dobric was the last man out from today’s schedule. He was the short stack for a while but went on a run of three decent pots to get back into the running. Sadly for him, his pocket sixes couldn’t win a race against the ace-queen of Espen Jorstad who now has a massive chip lead.
It’s all to play for in Day 2 of the 2022 WSOP Main Event Final Table. With $10 million up top it’s understandable that nerves might start to creep in from now on.
Michael Duek was one player who might be guilty of this. Poker Twitter went into meltdown after he folded pocket nines to a min-raise and a call while he was second in chips. Dan “Jungleman” Cates was one who expressed his displeasure.
I’m personally offended by this fold in the small blind with 99 in the main event
