Mikita Badziakouski and limitless chop Super MILLION$ Week SHR for over $300,000 each
Absolute highlight of last night was $25,500 buy-in Sunday Million SHR as it brought the creme de la creme of the international poker scene to the virtual felt.
44 players created a $1,100,000 prize pool and five places were paid with a massive $114,043.38 min-cash.
Players, who made it into the money were Aleks Ponakovs, Yuri “theNERDguy” Dzivielevski, Fedor Holz, limitless and Mikita Badziakouski.
Ponakovs and Dzivielevski were the first two players to bust, followed by the elimination of GGPoker ambassado Fedor Holz. His third place was already worth a whopping $202,800.
Fedor’s exit left two of online poker’s greats heads-up for the title: Mikita Badziakouski and Wiktor “limitless” Malinowski.
However, this super exciting match was short-lived as the two made an ICM deal. The deal resulted in limitless finishing in second place for $300,781 while Badziakouski was named winner and secured the biggest piece of the prize pool worth $330,294.
Omar Gomez wins Super MILLIONS Week Event #1 for $151,658
The inaugural event of the 2022 Super MILLIONS Week was a $525 Super KICKOFF Bounty Hunters HR.
Even though it had a huge $1,500,000 Guarantee, it was easily smashed as a staggering 3,515 players registered to generate a $1,757,000 prize pool.
By far the biggest name on the final table was Pim de Goede, who chopped the 2018 partypoker MILLIONS Online for an incredible $2,309,994.
This time it was not meant to be though as de Goede busted in 6th place for $28,565.
The heads-up was a Argentinian-Chinese duel between Omar “el cordobes” Gomez and “wolongxiangsheng”. Omar Gomez came out on top to secure this prestigious title plus a career-high $151,658.18 score.
Alex Gelinski from Brazil takes down Super MILLIONS Week Event #3 for $149K
Super MILLIONS Week Event #3 was the $1,050 GGMasters High Rollers. It attracted a large field of 1,070 players, which was more than enough to reach its huge $1,000,000 Guarantee.
There was $148,704.73 up top and several notables such as Julian Thomas, Tal Noach, Aleks Ponakovs and Alex “PazAmor” Gelinski made it to the Grand Finale.
Alex Gelinski won the Sunday Million at PokerStars in November 2017 and after almost five years, he managed to finally top the score with this prestigious victory.
Heads-Up he defeated Lithuanian pro Arunas “AngryGoose” Sapitavicius to add another major title to his impressive online tournament results.
