Set vs. Overpair – Jennifer Tilly vs. Tom Dwan: $132,700 Pot
The biggest High Stakes Poker winner of all time, Tom Dwan, has been struggling with a downswing in Season 9, and his bad run continued.
Tom Dwan raises UTG with , Jennifer Tilly calls on the button with and Krish completes from the big blind holding . Pot Size: $4,200
3-way to a flop of . Dwan made a $3,000 cbet and both Tilly and Krish make a loose call. Pot Size: $13,200
Jennifer binks the on the turn, which puts Tom once again in a tough spot. Krish checks, Dwan fires a $10,000 second barrel and Jennifer just calls, Krish gets out of the way. Pot Size: $33,200
on the river. “durrrr” goes for the third barrel worth $24,500 and now Tilly raises to $75,000 sending Dwan deep into the tank. He ends up making the right decision by laying down his overpair. Good fold! Pot Size: $132,700
Jennifer sucks out again! – Jennifer Tilly vs. Xuan Liu: $173,600 Pot
Xuan Liu raises in early position to $2,500 with and Tilly calls from the small bling with . Pot Size: $6,600
The flop comes perfect for Xuan as she flops Top Two, while Jennifer has a gutshot to the Nuts. Liu bets $3,500 and Tilly calls. Pot Size: $13,600
Another on the turn. Liu fires a $10,000 second barrel after being checked to and Tilly responds with a surprising check-raise to $30,000. Xuan calls. Pot Size: $73,600
A miracle on the river gives Tilly the straight. She leads for $50,000 and Xuan says “I don’t think I can fold this hand”, before calling just to get shown that she got sucked out on the river. Jennifer Tilly gets lucky again to win a large $173,600 Pot
Garrett Adelstein gets maximum value from Krish – $215,600 Pot
Patrik Antonius open-raises from the cut-off to $1,100 with . Krish 3-bets from the button to $3,600 with and Garrett wakes up with in the big blind. Very nice spot for Adelstein, who makes it $14,000 to go. Antonius folds, but Krish makes a very aggressive 5-bet to $28,200. Garrett calls. Pot Size: $58,100
The flop comes and Krish continues to represent a big hand after getting checked to with a large $50,000 continuation bet. Adelstein now check-raises All-in as Krish only has $57,000 behind, but still has to fold, since he only holds King-high.
Garrett wins the biggest pot of High Stakes Poker Season 9 Episode 4 worth a whopping $215,900 at his High Stakes Poker debut.
