The biggest match in the history of poker will see GGPoker ambassador Dan Bilzerian and private equity billionaire Alec Gores put up $50million each in a winner takes all heads-up battle, according to the Instagram playboy…
Bilzerian will be playing an epic heads up match against billionaire Alec Gores
The incredible news was revealed by Bilzerian during his recent appearance on Logan Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast. Bilzerian stated: “I want to Pay-Per-View the mother****r.”
Almost everyone inside and outside of poker knows who Dan Bilzerian is. He is the self-styled king of Instagram, self-promoting his playboy lifestyle.
That involves posing and playing with stunning models, big guns, fast cars, and the occasional game of highstakes poker – as seen below with Kevin Hart and Jean-Robert Bellande.

The largest heads up match in history?
Bilzerian claims to have made more than $50million from playing private highstakes poker games, and in his new autobiography, The Setup, he claims much of that came from Israeli billionaire, Gores.
That claim, repeated on the Logan Paul podcast, has apparently angered Alec Gores. Therefore, he decided to challenge Bilzerian to put up or shut up.
“That guy Alec [Gores, though Bilzerian only gives his full name in the book]… saw my podcast and he texted me. I said I beat him for like $40-$50 million, and he’s like, ‘Oh, the number wasn’t that high,’” claimed Bilzerian.
The 40-year-old Armenian-American added: “He’s like, ‘I wanna play you heads-up, let’s see who has the bigger balls for $25 million apiece.”
If those stakes weren’t high enough, and likely the biggest ever seen in poker for a heads-up match, things were about to get really serious.
“I (said to Alec) I’ll play you for $25 million at the Aria if you wanna wire money over, and then he was like, ‘I don’t wanna play you unless it’s for at least $50 million.’
I was like, ‘I’ll wire in $50 million to the Aria in 10 days if you wanna play, and we can televise it if you want. And so, he’s challenged me twice, so I think we might play for $100 million.”
If the match takes place, and according to reports there is a high likelihood of it happening, Bilzerian hopes it will end talk of how he made his wealth.
Most believe it was a result of being a trust-fund baby. Dan’s father Paul was found guilty of securities law violations and serving several years in prison.
Dan Bilzerian, however, says of the trust fund money claims: “I gave it all back… I gave it to my brother. I didn’t need it, didn’t want it, didn’t care.”
He claims most of his estimated $200million fortune came from private poker games. The proposed match with Alec Gores will show that it was indeed possible.
It’s all about the money for Bilzerian
“It would be the biggest poker game ever played,” he told Paul this week. “And the beauty of that is it like shuts the f**k up everybody that was talking s**t like you can’t win this much money in poker.”
That referenced a very public Twitter dispute and fallout with “Jungleman” Dan Cates, which included this exchange…
Definitely won more money than your ass in poker, that’s a fact

Doug Polk also ripped Bilzerian’s poker game apart in a YouTube video. However, the “King of Instagram” has claimed several times that he played up his baller lifestyle in order to gain access to the biggest private games. The views of Polk and Cates are irrelevant to him.
“I don’t give a fuck, I don’t hang out with those motherfuckers, I couldn’t care less,” he stated, adding: “It was about getting into the games with the celebrities, the producers, the hedge fund guys – I didn’t even want to be associated with poker players.”
He added: “I never wanted to be the guy on TV showing everyone how good I was. I wanted to be the guy that people thought sucked, so I could play with the rich guys. It was the one thing in my life that wasn’t about ego, it was about bank account.”
