Bill Perkins has signed up for another crazy Weight Loss Prop Bet, but this time it’s going to be him that suffers! The multi-millionaire hedge fund manager is going to be taking on an extreme weight loss bet that requires him to get his body fat percentage down to less than 9%.
I have a 200k get under 9 percent body fat bet by April 22nd. Will I make it? #Exercise #Diet

Can Bill Perkins turn back the Years and Get Super Lean?
Fresh off the back of defeating Landon Tice in their match, Perkins made a deal with Dan Bilzerian at $200,000 to make the 9% line on a Dexa scan before April 22 2022.
Obviously not an easy task given Perkins being 52-years-old, but certainly not out of the question, even if his Twitter followers don’t all necessarily believe he’ll do it.
Perkins confirms that he’s actually done this before, hitting 7.8% body fat, but the catch is that this was 15 years ago. There’s a huge difference between a man at 37 and one at 52.
Yes it’s fucking awful. I did it to measured 7.8 something and it sucked ass….. I’m 15 years older and it’s going to suck!! All DEXA

Is this Weight Loss Prop Bet Achievable?
Bill Perkins claims he’s around 24% body fat, which on the face of it should make the bet easily achievable. It’s all going to come down to his age and genetics.
We’re assuming, of course, that a man who is clearly driven will easily be able to handle the dietary restrictions required and get himself to the gym as needed.
The question of motivation was brought up repeatedly in the thread—is $200,000 enough money to motivate Bill Perkins to undertake what will be undeniably an unpleasant task?
There is also the question of hormone replacement. Would this be cheating if it’s done on the level of a therapeutic dose? Nobody is suggesting that Bill Perkins would subject himself to any kind of steroid abuse but testosterone replacement is now widespread and would make this bet a slam dunk.
Bill Perkins and His Other Side Bets
We look forward to seeing if he can do it. Remember that it’s not that long since Perkins put up $150,000 against the Staples brothers for another extreme weight loss bet. He won’t want to lose another wager of that kind, even he is the one who has to suffer a little.
And also just remember how shrewd a negotiator Bill Perkins is. He currently has an 8:1 bet with Landon Tice on whether or not the youngster can win a WSOP bracelet this year. More fantastic negotiating from the American.
I have a bet with @bp22 to win a Live WSOP Bracelet at 8:1 at my first series.

Thoughts?
