Keeping up with the Kardashians took on a whole new meaning when Phil Hellmuth tried to teach poker to Khloé and other members of the reality TV clan. The Poker Brat relived the experience this week on Twitter…

Phil Hellmuth is “Keeping up with the Kardashians”
The 15-time WSOP bracelet winner looked to be in fine form as he posed with the 36-year-old model and socialite, known as KOKO, in what looked like a private gig for the Poker Brat.
The second pic is rather more interesting, however, with the former partner of Khloé’s sister Kourtney looking completely zoned out, Khloé herself looking somewhat confused and confuddled, and Phil looking like he wishes he was somewhere else.
That fits in well with another of the Poker Brat’s tweets this week, a handy guide to what his facial expressions relay at the table…

Though Phil doesn’t mention it, it seems that he was on a trip down memory lane, the poker lesson part of season 15 of “Keeping up with the Kardashians.”
The 2018 episode entitled “The Kardashians go Pro at Poker” sees Phil and his fellow poker legend Antonio ‘The Magician Esfandiairi, teaching Khloé, and her mum Kris Jenner, respectively.
Phil’s advice to Khloé was to play only the top 10% of her hands, from pocket aces down to sevens, with ace-king, ace-queen thrown in.
Khloé seemed happy with the advice, saying: “I actually appreciate Phil’s method of teaching, because I don’t really have the brain capacity to hold on to all this other mumbo-jumbo…”
Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian, the billionaire married to rapper Kanye West, enlisted the help of mind expert, Lion ‘The Mystifier’ Suchard. His approach was to teach Kim when people were lying rather than about suited connectors and middle pairs.
The practice run however saw Esfandiari’s student, Kris, land the big stack as you can see below…
…though what happened in Phil’s tweeted game is still a mystery.
Kim Kardashian getting mocked
Spare a thought for Kim Kardashian, though, as her poker interest saw her mocked mercilessly in the following meme…
The photo and meme went viral, as they tend to when they involve the most famous of the reality TV star Kardashians, and even made it to the website Snopes.com.
Snopes is the go-to place to debunk or certify whether something actually happened, and here’s what they had to say…
“This is a genuine photograph of the reality television star wearing reflective sunglasses at a poker table. The photograph was taken in July 2018 at the first annual “If Only” Texas Hold’em charity poker tournament at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
They add: “However, this fashion choice isn’t as moronic as the meme would suggest. Sunglasses are actually quite common around the poker table.”
They then list Phil Laak, Chris Moneymaker, and Qui Nguyen among pros who have donned the mirrored glasses look at the table. Whether Hellmuth will emulate his fellow champions or not by wearing a pair himself in his rematch with Daniel Negreanu remains to be seen.
The pair is due to meet on May 5th in round two of their High Stakes Duel, with the buy-in set at $100,000 after Phil took the opening bout and $50k.
