Chance Kornuth with a huge comeback
Chance Kornuth was a huge underdog prior to the start of the Galfond Challenge and was down more than 14 buy-ins in nine sessions. However, he just came up with a huge comeback against the Run It Once Poker founder.

After being down $280,000 against Galfond nobody was expecting Kornuth to turn the tides.
Nevertheless, he managed to win both of the latest sessions and cut his deficit in half.
He made $82,000 in his latest session against Galfond and $79,000 in the previous one which puts him at a deficit of -$117,000.

Prior to his first huge winning session against Galfond, the Challenge had to go on a short break, because Kornuth had to wait for a deposit limit increase.
